Chaplain Street Corps. is passionate about reaching the unchurched and helping the unsheltered.
We are also dedicated to discipling new Christians and connecting them with faith communities.
We accomplish this through:
Educating our volunteers
Advocating for the unsheltered
Bringing the hope of Jesus Christ into conditions of crisis and despair, and sharing our Christian walk over extended periods of time while meeting the basic needs of the homeless community
Our Mission
Transforming Lives
"for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me (Matthew 25:35-36, NKJV)."
Chaplains have a long history of traveling outside of the church and becoming problem solvers as they work with those facing a crisis or trauma.
Missionaries seek to travel beyond the walls of the church to bring Christ to those who have not heard the Good News.
Chaplain Street Corps. is a Christian mission in North America that seeks to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ and basic essential supplies to those who are facing the crisis and trauma of homelessness.
We believe that it is only through the supernatural power of Jesus Christ that homelessness and the habits, hurts and hang ups that spawn it can be transformed into new lives that are integrated back into society.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (NKJV, 2 Corinthians 5:17)."
